This week, 88 fantastic people across 22 teams came together for the inaugural Progressive Legal Solutions Charity Golf Day in support of the Tom Stead Bone Cancer Research Trust Tribute Fund at the stunning Bearwood Lakes Golf Club, recently nominated as one of the Best Golf Courses in the UK.
From the moment guests arrived, the day felt special. Golf bags were collected and taken straight to the practice area, personalised lockers and goody bags were waiting and everyone enjoyed bacon rolls and fresh coffee before heading out for a shotgun start… in a scorching 33°C! ☀️
The golf was certainly competitive, with a few very questionable scorecards along the way! 😄
A huge congratulations to Michael Pervis from JMW Solicitors LLP Solicitors, who not only claimed the individual title but also helped his team take home the overall team prize!
However, the real winner was the charity. 💙 Together, we raised an incredible £15,520 for bone cancer in aid of Tom Stead.
A huge congratulations to the winner of the Nearest the Pin, Beat the Pro competition, who also drove away with a BMW for the weekend, generously donated by Group 1Reading BMW.
After the golf, everyone enjoyed an open bar, BBQ on the terrace, fantastic raffle prizes and the presentation ceremony, making for an unforgettable finish to an amazing day.
A massive thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, and contributed to making the event such a success, along with the incredible team at Bearwood Lakes for their outstanding hospitality.
A special thank you also goes to our own Andy Stradling, whose hard work and dedication brought this event to life.
This wasn’t just a golf day. It was about bringing people together, supporting an incredible cause, creating lasting memories and proving what can be achieved when friends, family and colleagues unite.
This is what we do.
Because Service Matters.
It’s about solutions.
It’s about people.
It’s about friends, family and fun.
⛳ Roll on next year… who’s joining us?

We’re delighted to raise over £15,500 for The Bone Cancer Research Trust
